Bruce's family joined Christ Church when his parents moved to Pensacola in 1967, shortly before Bruce’s second birthday. Bruce was confirmed in Christ Church, graduated from EDS, married his wife Beth at Christ Church. Their children Gorham and Graybill were both baptized and confirmed at Christ Church and were both EDS graduates. Bruce’s father, Don, continues to sing in the Choir after joining the choir in 1967, and his mother, Cherry, was buried from Christ Church in 2004. Beth has, for what is becoming “many” years, written icons with the Eighth Graders at EDS, and written many icons herself. Both Bruce and Beth have enjoyed and participated in many of the contemplative prayer offerings at Christ Church and when they were younger, helped to start the Via Medius young adults group, and the “Fishbowl Fellowship” young adult Christian formation class.
