Carol was born and raised in Pensacola. She has been happily married to her husband, Chris for 31 years. They have two daughters, a granddaughter named Ellie Rose, and a grandson on the way.

Carol attended Pensacola Junior College receiving a bachelor’s degree in Business. She worked as a manager for Dillard’s Department Store for 17 years. After many years of long hours and working holidays, Carol decided she needed a change. She wanted to spend more time with her family and decided to resign from her job to take much needed time off.

A friend approached her about a job at Christ Church Mother’s Day Out. Being a mom and a new grandmother, Carol thought she would take a chance and try something new. After nine months, Carol became the director of the Mother’s Day Out program.

“With many dedicated teachers and a lot of hard work, we have turned a struggling program into a wonderful, thriving success. I am very proud of our Mother’s Day Out program and am so glad to feel like I make a difference,” Carol said.
