We will have a delightful day exploring the Bay City’s history with a riding tour of the downtown historic districts and visits to our diocesan cathedral, Christ Church Cathedral, and Mobile Carnival Museum. The church was established in 1823 and built in 1840. It is Greek Revival architecture and became the cathedral in 2005. The riding tour will include the historic districts of downtown. The Carnival Museum showcases over 300 years of rich history and traditions in Mobile, the birthplace of Mardi Gras. We will have lunch at Dauphins located on the 34th foor of the Trustmark Building with beautiful panoramic views of the city. The bus will depart at 8:30 AM and return by 5 PM and will park on Belmont St. by the entrance to the parking lot. The cost is $78 per person with a required minimum of 30 people and includes transportation, lunch, admission fees, riding tour and tip for the driver.
