Christ Church is proud to sponsor the Pensacola Bay Concert Band as our “Ensemble in Residence.” This designation represents the spirit of cooperation and shared vision between the church and the band. Christ Church serves as the PBCB’s home base and practice space.
Founded in 2014, the PBCB provides an opportunity for people with a love of music to join together in community and common mission. The band has grown to over 90 members, and they provide three concerts a year. All of their concerts are free, yet they request non-perishable food items at admission. So far, they have donated over 1,000 pounds of food to Manna Food Pantry.
