EPISCOPAL YOUTH COMMUNITY
WHAT IS EYC?
Episcopal Youth Community (or EYC) is a youth ministry for 6th-12th graders to continue their formation and have an outlet for fellowship within the church.
A big part of what we do as a group is learning about God’s Word and how it helps us on our path in life. A verse in Psalm 119 is an excellent reminder that even when we feel lost, God can help. It says, “Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” God actively speaks to us through the Bible, in prayer, and through others, shining a light in our lives when we have doubts or feel lost. The key is to spend time in God’s Word, reading the Bible, and getting to know what He says.
Reflect on this bible verse as we incorporate it throughout the year.
